Hi there! I'm Sarah, writer and freelancer.

In the market for a new brand or digital strategy? Need a beautiful website, deck, or designed report? Want a freelancer who can deliver clear and polished writing ahead of deadline? Let's talk.

Sarah’s smarts, wit, and abilities are actually exceptional; it’s not hyperbole. She is a sponge for feedback, and excels at driving the bigger picture of our work together. Lastly, she’s a delight to collaborate with— which makes her even greater than exceptional in my book.

When it comes to hiring freelancers, I've been on both sides of the desk. My style: clear proactive communication, checking in frequently on deadlines and goals, being reliably connected and responsive, and bringing the best of myself to your project and organization.

I'm currently accepting projects for early 2020 and onwards. Here are my rates:

Business writing, brand copy, and digital copy

$65/hour, with a free 30 minute consultation. For certain content creation projects, I also offer per-word rates.

Slide deck design and layout

$45/hour, with a free 30 minute consultation. I work with Keynote, Powerpoint, GoogleSlides, and Prezi.

Graphic design

$65/hour, with a $50 rush fee for projects requiring a turnaround of less than 48 hours. I work with Pages, InDesign, and Illustrator. You can contact me for examples of my work.

Website design

$80/hour. I work primarily with Squarespace and Wordpress. You can contact me for examples of my work.

Event planning and management

Please contact me with some information about your event (date, budget, audience, type of event, desired venue) and we'll discuss rates from there.

Brand strategy and facilitation:

Starting a new organization, product, newsletter and need help bringing its brand to life? I charge $90/hour for brand strategy work, and also offer a $2000 flat rate for two brand brainstorm facilitation sessions with your team, with the final output being a branding guide with colors, logo, and fonts that set your new brand apart and gives it a consistent and compelling visual identity.
